This is without a doubt one of our favorite projects. We ran into our surf instructor as he was going around town asking local businesses in Nosara, Costa Rica for donations for the local kids surf team, which he volunteers time to coach. They were raising money to help support kids that are on their team or wanted to be on their team, but do not have enough money to meet the requirement that they stay in school.

Donations help pay for shoes, clothes, school supplies and bus fare to and from school and surf practice. They also help support staging of surf contests in the area in the hopes that they can bring national surf competitions back to Nosara. As former educators, we could not resist.

We donated an entire web site and ongoing support and content updates for it so the team can educate the community on their community service projects, update the progress of the team members, publicize their surf competitions and take donations on-line so the coaches can spend more time with the kids and less time running around town.

A lot of people are giving a lot of time to achieve the mission of the Nosara Surf Team: to develop national champion level surfers and world class citizens. We are proud to be involved with this program. If you would like to get involved, click here.

Guiones Adventures is an adventure tour company in Nosara, Costa Rica that provides ATV rentals and tours, deep sea fishing and spearfishing tours, surf tours and a lot more. They were on the verge of opening for business when they asked us to develop a web site for them that was ‘as kick ass as the tours’ they provide. We provided on-line business consulting and end-to-end site development complete with SEO and tour reservation forms for dozens of exciting opportunities available to people visiting or living in the Nosara area. This project raised the bar for web sites in Costa Rica and we’ve been flooded with requests to build web sites for other companies in Nosara since its launch. Guiones Adventures has made a huge splash in town we are proud to have played a part in their early and overwhelming success.

Stublr was in need of a solution for poorly designed legacy code base that could not be fixed nor built upon to server their customers needs. We rebuilt the site from scratch and nailed every feature as it was originally designed to work for less than 1/10th the cost of the original broken site. (That’s not a typ-o – it was literally less than 1/10th the cost). Stublr is now able to deliver a much better user experience to its premium members and can plan even more without limitations. The project called for advanced social networking functionality, real time member chat, web services integration, email marketing, database performance optimization and super simple content management with superior search engine optimization. We continue to provide on-going development and maintenance services for Stublr.

Repmycollege.com is the hottest new application for supporting your favorite college sports teams. Starting on a shoestring budget, the RMC team wanted to find the most cost effective way to build a platform on which college sports fans could do what they do best – support their favorite teams and talk trash about the rest of them. We helped to implement free open source technologies and sourced quality low cost talent to produce a site that, in its infancy, has already garnered attention from major national brands looking to tap into the lucrative live sports consumer market.

The Insomniac team wanted to build a customized cross platform web browser that would run multiple sessions of one web site concurrently without needing to use separate browsers. We took this entire project from concept to release and continue to add new features on an on-going basis. The software is compatible with both Mac and PC and allows its users to do anything from running multiple Google accounts to ensuring that they get the best seats available for on-line ticket sales for concerts. Insomniac Browser is monetized through a monthly subscription fee and is wildly successful, with a monthly renewal rate of over 95%.
